We ordered a box of Edun T-shirts. Edun is a “socially conscious clothing company”. The tees are made of 100% organic cottons from Africa and sewn by Africans. They have a great philosophy of “Trade Not Aid” which encourages starting sustainable businesses in Africa that will create job opportunities in the region. EDUN is founded in 2005 by Ali Hewson and Bono.

The t-shirts that we got are “Organic color”(bottom pic) and also “Great White color”(top pic). We wanted a pure white organic tee so the prints will look more vibrant but sadly they do not have it. Both are made of 100% organic cottons. The t-shirts are soft  to touch but i feel that they are a tad thin. The cutting fits well and they do have a range of t-shirts that you can choose from their website, www.edunonline.com. We’ll test print on them soon and see how it goes. At the mean time we’ll be checking out other t-shirt suppliers to determine which t-shirt will be used for One Million Tee.

We would like to thank Christine and Laura from EDUN for their help in getting this tees sent over.
